AquaSport 17AX Swim Spa Features

Explore our innovative swim spa features

Accuflo Swim Jet Technology

The two AccuFlo Jets produce the swim current, and the jet's laminar design flattens the water flow for a much smoother swim.

Aquachannel Shell

The shell hips are designed to create an eddy in the seating area. The Performance Flow Intakes reduce any reflective wave to help keep the swimmer in the swim lane. The Aquatic Swim Spa Shell design has one of the largest unobstructed swim tanks on the market. The shell also includes Hip Jets that stabilize the swimmer in the swim lane.

Bellagio Package

Includes the Northern Lights and Bellagio Falls and can be added to any Aquatic or Executive Series swim spa.

Convenient Ice Bucket

Beat the heat and keep your drinks refreshingly cool with the built-in ice bucket in every Hydropool swim spa. A clever jet system automatically drains melted ice, so you can relax without worrying about overflow.

Effective Design

Suctions are located in the Performance Flow Intakes to eliminate turbulence and the oversized intakes allows the return pipes to move more volumes of water. These Evergreen pumps use 30% less amperage than any traditional pump.

Ergonomic Seating

Experience customized comfort with Hydropool's Ergonomic Seating. Specially designed contours cradle your body, providing pressure-point relief and optimal support for a truly rejuvenating swim spa experience.

Insulated HydroWise Cabinet

Hydropool's Insulated HydroWise Cabinet keeps your swim spa running efficiently and extends your swim season, no matter the weather.

JetFlex Swim System

The system produces 5 kph (3.5 mph) of swim current and is fully adjustable for the user, allowing varying flows of water.

Pump Design

This swim spa has two 5hp VFX Pumps and one 4 hp Buoyancy Pump all located under the Executive Trainer's swim jets, producing the strongest, most predictable swim current on the market.

Recessed Jets

Indulge in total body relaxation with a swim spa's unique jet configuration. Multiple jets offer a variety of massage options, allowing you to target your sore spots or rotate through them for a complete rejuvenation experience.

Safety Steps

Hydropool’s safety steps make entering and exiting your swim spa safe and easy.

What Is The Cost Difference Of A Pool Versus A Swim Spa?

Swim spas run between $20,000 to $50,000, while in-ground pools cost an average of $40,000 to $100,000, depending on installation type, size, and other requirements. The cost to heat a swim spa typically totals between $1 and $3 per day, while an in-ground pool costs more than $5 per day depending on heater type, pool size, and climate. Maintenance costs for swim spas.

Where Can A Swim Spa Be Installed?

Swim spas are very versatile when it comes to installation. Whether you choose to create an indoor pool retreat or a more traditional backyard pool paradise, your swim spa can be installed in-ground, freestanding, vaulted into the ground, partially recessed in-ground, or with a deck surround.

What Is A Swim Spa?

Serving as an all seasons pool™, a swim spa enables you to harness water’s natural ability to soothe and strengthen your body and mind any time of the year. Swimming is an ideal entry-level exercise option for those just beginning their health journey or recovering from an injury. It’s also a challenging choice for athletes of all levels eager to get into the best shape of their lives from the year-round privacy of their own backyard.

Are Swim Spas Worth It?

Some people are attracted to the numerous health and wellness features they offer and others like the convenience they provide. Regardless of whether you’re creating a staycation-worthy backyard or an all seasons pool™ option, swim spas can increase the amount of fun, relaxation and fitness level for everyone in your family.
